If you are a Veteran seeking information or support, we invite you to connect with us.
Operation Stable Ground was founded by Roswell Ramseur, a U.S. Navy Veteran and retired postal worker.
Mr. Ramseur served eight years in the U.S. Navy, stationed in Norfolk, Virginia, and later retired after 40 years with the U.S. Postal Service in Charlotte, North Carolina.
His family’s legacy of service spans generations. His brother, Robert Ramseur, served as a U.S. Marine during the Vietnam era and was wounded multiple times in combat. His father, Joseph N. Ramseur, served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Having been blessed with stable retirement and benefits, Mr. Ramseur is committed to helping fellow Veterans who now find themselves without a place to call home. Operation Stable Ground is his response — grounded in service, compassion, and purpose.
Operation Stable Ground reflects a lifelong commitment to service beyond uniform and retirement.
Operation Stable Ground is designed to grow responsibly. Current efforts focus on connection, coordination, and readiness. Future exploration of innovative housing solutions may occur as partnerships, land, and resources allow.
